I chose this photo because of the contrast among the red of the bandana and her hair that is produced by the lighting which makes the model's face appear lighter and directs the viewer's attention to her eyes.
This image is among my favorite because of the shadow casted upon the drapes by the sunlight and the angle in which the picture was taken. The shadow is able to display the mirror image of the model's hair in detail, as well as the shadow of her lashes upon her face.
The image above caught my attention because of the detail portrayed in the cloth being held above the model's face. The covering of half her face directs the attention to the model's eye and her slowly growing smile.
I chose this image because of the expression on the model's face, the lighting works with the model because it functions in a matter that compliments her features. The loose strands of hair which are dark contrast with her face and make her face appear lighter.
I really liked this image because of the texture portrayed in the model's hair. I took this close up for that same purpose, so as to emphasis all her features and let the light of day do its job.
This image is among my favorites because of the matter in which the pattern of the cloth being held over her lower half of her face mixes with the darkness of her hair. The black/brown color of her hair works to emphasis the cloth and the cloth attracts attention to the model's large glowing eyes.
I chose this image because it appears as if the model is scared and attempting to hide behind the thin see through cloth, I also chose it because of the angle in which the image was taken which makes her face appear flawless.
I chose this picture because of the expression and the mood that this image is capable to provoke. The hair sort of works as a frame to emphasis the model's face.
I chose this picture because I chose both the image above and beneath this one, all three work to show the change in the models expressions and create a stronger image.
This image is among my top favorites, I feel like this image speaks for itself and projects the persona of whom I photographed.

ReplyDeleteI like the diction you chose to describe the reasons why you picked these pictures out instead of the others you took. I also like the pictures and the way you took them too, if that makes any sense.
