2) Today is the 70th anniversary of the D-day WWII battle. The famous war photographer who stormed Normandy with the soldiers during WWII was Robert Capa. A darkroom technician as well as Capa himself were so anxious to see the pictures he had captured that in attempts to dry the film they dried it too quickly. The heat melted the emulsion on all but 10 frames.
3) After the war, he and his fellow founders (Henri Cartier-Bresson, George Roger, and David Seymour) created MAGNUM PHOTOS.
4) He said a photo required the alignment of the head, heart, and eyes to be successful.

I chose the first photo of my portfolio because I feel the picture is self explanatory as to who he is as a person.
